Artist Bio
Isabella Teng is an artist working in the areas of painting, drawing, and installation. Her projects aim to transform everyday spaces into imaginative realms, where multiple perceptual possibilities exist. She examines the nature of perception through the intersection of line, space, text and illusion, and explores how perceptual shifts may be made possible through humour in art.
Isabella’s work has been shown at Art Stage Singapore, Esplanade Theatres by the Bay, OCBC Art Space, and The Private Museum (SG), among other public and private institutions. Isabella was recently selected for Tropical Lab 16, the international post-graduate art camp held at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. She was also the recipient of the Winston Oh Travel Award 2022.
She is also one-half of the collaborative art duo MIRROR.
